"I wanted to send you an email to say the biggest thank you for everything you and all the staff at Tilford Meadow have done for Emily over the past two years. She has absolutely loved her time with you and I know how much she is going to miss it. We're going to miss her daily stories about nursery, what she gets up to in the forest, what she does inside (normally about her paintings or lego or what one of her teachers has said to make her laugh that day) and hearing her sing new songs (on repeat and sometimes very loudly!). She speaks so fondly of everyone there and Chris and I are so grateful she's had such a fantastic nursery experience. Before Emily started with you she had only been looked after by us or her Granny and she was very shy around others. I was very worried about how she would take to a nursery environment. However, despite a couple of wobbles in the very early days I can't remember a day when she hasn't looked forward to going in to nursery. Her confidence around her friends and adults has grown massively and I'm convinced this is down to the fabulous environment you've created at Tilford.  All the teachers have been nothing short of amazing and we couldn't have wished for a lovelier group of people to look after our big girl . Thank you especially for going above and beyond to make Tilford a safe space for everyone over the past year, we know it can't have been easy but we so appreciated all the effort you put in."

"Amongst all the uncertainty this global pandemic has thrown at us, Tilford Meadow has been a sanctuary of reassuring normality for Leo. The meticulous attention to detail shown in Carolyn’s risk assessments (kept under constant review and adjusted as necessary in response to an ever evolving situation) really did assure me that Leo would be safe at nursery. The whole staff team have gone above and beyond to ensure the children have been kept safe and happy throughout, at a time when they themselves no doubt have had their own challenges and stresses with home schooling; concerns for their own family and loved ones health; not to mention plans comminuted short notice from central authorities.  We really cannot thank you all enough!  Tilford Meadow is a very special nursery and I think the way in which the staff have handled this difficult year is yet further testament to this. Now its time for Leo to leave, you have all enriched his early years beyond measure and given him the best possible foundation for the next chapter."

"I have been using Tilford Meadow Nursery for over six years now and in all that time there has not been one day that one of our son's has not wanted to come to nursery, which is a testiment to the happy,safe and nurturing environment you find here. The staff are fantastic, incredibly friendly and approachable, and it is clear just how much time and effort they put into their work. The outside play area is great and Forest School offers the children lots of exciting adventures in the outdoors. I have nothing but praise for Carolyn and her team and would highly recommend Tilford Meadow Nursery School."  

"My two sons have both absolutely loved attending Tilford Meadow Nursery over the last two years. My youngest son has sadly just finished at the nursery as he is off to school in September. Both boys have had such an enjoyable experience at the nursery and really grown in confidence and developed their socialising skills. The staff are wonderful and really hands on with the children. The forest school sessions have been so fantastic, the boys are always talking about them and sharing their special experiences from their time in the woods! I can't recommend Tilford Meadow nursery more highly!"  

"Staff at Tilford Meadow were friendly and nurturing during my son's stay there. He particularly loved the great outdoor space, which to us was the decider when looking at pre-schools. He also liked Forest School, which is a great way for children, especially boys, to learn! Following in his footsteps, his little sister will be joining Tilford Meadow soon, too. I have recommended the setting to many of my friends already".  

" I cannot rate Tilford Meadows highly enough , my daughter has absolutely thrived here and has not once been reluctant to go, which happened with my other children's pre-school. This I believe is all down to the lovely, nurturing staff and the environment that Tilford Meadow offers . It is also refreshing to see the children playing outside in all kinds of weather - the only downside is that my daughter needs to leave to go to school in September !"
