Thank you to all the parents and children that gave us such lovely Christmas gifts and messages in cards, really made us all feel so appreciated and it was very generous of you all, thank you!
We have a new club, Boogie Pumps , joining us on a Friday afternoon that seems to be really action packed and high energy including lots of danicing and actions as well as learning new songs!
The nursery group has joined Operation Encompass to help support and safegaurd the children in our care. This is a link between our nurseries, Surrey Police and Surrey County Council. There is a link on the infomation page.
We are continuing to develop our lovely outdoor area further. We have rebarked the outdoor area and developed the digging area, updated the mud kitchen area.We recently had a patio laid to extend from the outdoor class room, this is edged with sleeper borders where the children can plant herbs, vegetable and country flowers. We have also re-turfed and redesigned the "mound" which is always a very popular area to run or bike down and has had a lot of wear and tear !! We have added a music wall which you can see on our Facebook page and we have also installed a lovely mud kitchen which I know the children just love !!! We will continue to develop and maintain our lovely outdoor area throughout the year.
We offer extended sessions on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We have just a few sessions available for the children aged two and a half from the Spring Term 2020
Due to parent feedback, we now offer Story Club from 8.55-9.15 Monday to Friday to coincide with local school drop off. This has been very succesful and the children really enjoy story time.
From September 2020 we will be offering Playball as an additional club to our nursery on a Thursday afternoon.
We always welcome parent help and if you feel that you would like to come in and read a story, do some cooking or gardening with the children then please see Carolyn or Jill who will only be too happy to arrange a time for you to come in !!
We regularly put posts on the Tilford Meadow Nursery School Facebook and Instagram page, so please follow to keep up to date with what the children have been up to, we welcome comments and reviews too!
We value your feedback on the care we provide and facilities we offer , should you have any suggestions then please either see Carolyn in the nursery or e mail firstname.lastname@example.org
