The big news is the result of our Ofsted Inspection where the nursery received an amazing outcome of OUTSTANDING for the second inspection running in all areas - this reflects the continuous hard work that Carole and her team put into running the nursery and the underpinning management infastructure. We are really very proud of this well earned achievement.

We are now have very limited spaces until September 2021 . We are accepting applications for later start dates from September 2020 onwards.

The summer term was not our usual term to say the least. we closed in March due to the Covid19 lockdown and we reopened in June. We operated in "bubble" groups and all families, which were most, were able to access nursery for the half term. The feedback has been so positive and was such the right thing to do. We know that the Autumn term will continue to be affected by Covid, but we now have a very good system in place to cope with the Government guidance and changes that need to be made.

This term the children will all get the opportunity to get involved with growing their own fruit and vegetables in the nursery garden from planting, watering and finally picking it to cook and eat !! Gardening club is a brilliant way for children to learn where our food comes from and the process of growth and what is needed to make this happen.

We now have a mud kitchen in our garden area where the children are thoroughly enjoying, making pies and potions !

Twice a week Mrs Jones our music teacher visits the nursery and the children sing familiar songs as well as learning new ones around the piano. The children perform a concert each term and this is always a very popular activity in the nursery. This term we will have our nativity when all the children dress up (provided by the nursery) and really get festive !! We also have regular ICT opportunities and the children also enjoy cooking from pizza's to bread !

Our location also allows us to takes regular trips into The Bourne Woods and to the newly developed play area on The Bourne Green.

We are able to offer Forest School activities on a Tuesday and a Wednesday, which is great fun and a real learning opportunity without the use of toys, children explore the natural environment using investigation and sensory skills.

We always welcome parent help and we hold a "Parents Week" when you will have the opportunity to help in all aspects of the nursery.

The nursery has an Open House policy and we welcome your comments and feedback on you and your child's time with us.
